Doctors consulting at Morningside General Practice Clinic prioritise empowering patients to take an active role in their health. They are dedicated to providing personalised, patient-focused, and comprehensive medical services, including specialised care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

Medical services offered through the clinic include :

  • Children’s health, including immunizations
  • Pregnancy care
  • Internal medicine
  • Men’s health support
  • Chronic disease management
  • Mental health services
  • Family medicine
  • Sexual health services
  • Women’s health services

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients are provided with dedicated health checks to support their physical, social, and emotional well-being. These health checks are suitable for patients of all ages and are designed to identify potential illnesses or chronic diseases before they occur. Preventive measures are often more effective and easier to implement than treatment after the fact.

During the health check, you will have a 30-minute consultation with a doctor and clinic nurse. They will gather important information about your health, such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels, height, and weight. Additional tests, such as blood or urine tests, may also be conducted based on your specific needs. This checkup is an opportunity to discuss the health of your family as well.

Morningside General Practice Clinic is committed to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals receive accessible and high-quality healthcare.
