Payment at the Time of Consultation: To streamline the administrative process, it is kindly requested all fees be settled at the time of your consultation.
Medicare Integration: Morningside General Practice Clinic is seamlessly integrated with Medicare Online, facilitating a smoother experience for patients.
Online Medicare Claiming: For your convenience, if you possess a current Medicare card, you have the option to instantly claim your expenses online.
Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, and cash are accepted as forms of payment.
Telehealth Consults: attract the same fees as ‘face-to-face’ consults. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate the patient must have had a ‘face-to-face’ consult at the clinic within the last twelve months.
Veterans Affairs: The clinic accepts the Gold Card for both surgical procedures and home visits from Veterans Affairs patients.
Saturday & Sunday Surcharge: There is an additional surcharge for consultations on Saturdays & Sundays.
Additional Fees: If you require procedures, dressings or specific vaccinations, please consult Reception or the doctor to obtain information regarding any associated fees. Additional fees may also apply for clinic nurses to upload vaccinations to the Australian Immunisation Register for vaccinations administered overseas.
Dressing Packs: Please note, if coming for a dressing or procedure, you will be charged a wound management or treatment room facility fee. This is to cover the cost for the clinic to purchase the dressings/consumables.

Minor procedures – $25.00
Complex procedures – $50.00
