Dr. Nicola Shankey
Dr Nicola Shankey graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998 and started General Practice Training in 2004. She then completed her Post Graduate Diploma of Child Health in 2015.
She is interested in all areas of General Practice, especially passionate about preventative medicine, women’s and children’s health, mental health and menopause. She is a current member of the Australian Menopause Society, the Australian Society of Psychological Medicine, and the RACGP. She is aligned with Mater Mother’s Hospital to provide antenatal shared care.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, spin classes, strength training and the beach.
Dr Shankey is now offering Wednesday night telehealth consultations outside of our usual practice opening hours. They cost $135 for a standard consultation and we will process your rebate to Medicare accordingly, Dr Shankey will attempt to contact you three (3) times and if there is no answer, a $50 FTA fee applies as per our Practice Policy.
