Dr. Dane Andersen
Dane specialises in skin cancer medicine and surgery, as well as minor procedures. He is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. This means that he has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin cancer. Dane’s current goal is to complete the Australasian College of Dermatologist’s Advanced Certificate of Dermatology and Skin Cancer.
Dane grew up in Brisbane before completing medical school at Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2017. He completed his hospital residency at Toowoomba and Princess Alexandra Hospitals, with a focus on plastic and orthopaedic surgery. He then underwent his General Practice specialty training in Central Queensland and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2023.
