Dr. Allan Phillips has been in General Practice in the Morningside area for most of his career. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1977, and has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) since 1983. Together with Dr. Kratzing, he was a foundation board member of the Brisbane Inner South Division of General Practice (now BSPHN).

He is married to Dr. Janet Phillips, a co-founder of the clinic and they have five children.
