Meet the Clinic Nurses

Fiona Wilson

Fiona qualified in 1989 as a Registered Nurse, working in a variety of healthcare settings in Australia and the UK.

In the mid 90’s, Fiona qualified as a midwife and worked in delivery suite and postnatal before settling into General Practice nursing in 2011, completing a nurse immunisers course and developing a keen interest in immunisation.

Fiona was excited to join the experienced Morningside and Belmont General Practice Team in Aug 2022, to join them in delivering quality patient care to her local community.

Fiona completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 1994 and has had a broad range of nursing experience including general medical/surgical both in the UK and Australia.

Fiona joined Morningside General Practice Clinic in 2013 where she works on a part time basis. Outside of General Practice she works as a Nurse Educator educating patients on how to self-inject a biologic medicine for auto immune diseases.

Fiona is passionate about providing a high level of patient care and enjoys the variety offered in the General Practice setting. She is also an immunisation program nurse and enjoys keeping up to date with vaccinations.

Elaine Liddle

Elaine qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1983 and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings both here and in the UK.

Elaine qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1983 and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings both here and in the UK. She joined Morningside General Practice in 2005 and has a keen interest in wound care management.

Elaine enjoys the variety and continuity of care that General Practice offers and is a passionate member of a team dedicated to providing quality care to the patients who visit this clinic.

Allison Miles

Alli has been working as a dedicated practice nurse at Morningside and Belmont General Practice Clinics since 2016.

Alli has served as a dedicated practice nurse at Morningside and Belmont General Practice Clinics since 2016.

Across the clinics, her dedication focuses around maintaining patient continuity and cultivating strong connections. Her specific areas of interest encompass wound care and immunizations.

She takes pleasure in collaborating within the efficient and compassionate team, delivering exceptional care and generating a positive influence on the well-being and lives of patients.

Anne-Maree Cullen

Anne-Maree returned to full time study as a mature age student to achieve her lifelong goal of training as a nurse and graduated in 2018.

Anne-Maree returned to full time study as a mature age student to achieve her lifelong goal of training as a nurse and graduated in 2018. She has gained varied experience beginning her career working in Qld Health and spending several years working in rural hospitals, working as a contract tracer with Public Health at the coal face of the Covid pandemic before finding her passion of delivering Primary Healthcare to patients within Prison Health where she worked for 3 years. She has completed post graduate studies in Clinical Nursing and is a qualified Immunisation Practice Nurse.

Anne-Maree joined Morningside General Practice Clinic and Belmont General Practice Clinic in March 2023 and enjoys the diversity of nursing care that General Practice provides and ensures she delivers personalised patient centred clinical care to all patients across both clinics.

David Darling-Doidge

David graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2018 and has worked within aged care, community and hospital settings.

David is passionate about involving patients with their care and increasing their health literacy to help them look after themselves independently.

David continues to work between the Morningside and Belmont General Practice Clinics and at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

Kym de Fontaine

Kym qualified in 1978 in General Nursing. She has had a varied career across medical, surgical and specialty areas.

Kym qualified in 1978 in General Nursing. She has had a varied career across Medical, Surgical and Specialty areas, including Spinal Unit Medicine in Melbourne, Victoria.

She moved to North Queensland and worked in Chronic Pain Management, Orthopaedics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, Community Nursing & Aged Care and Chronic Disease Management, and in various General Practices before moving to Brisbane and joining Morningside General Practice Clinic in 2022 as Practice Nurse.

Kym enjoys the responsibility of regular monitoring of patients with chronic conditions, analysing their overall health, providing assessment, education, training, goal setting / support planning, and coordinating their care with the doctors, providers and the community.

Olivia Jaurigue

Olivia's nursing journey began when she graduated from Griffith University in 2021.

Hello, my name is Olivia. My nursing journey began when I graduated from Griffith University in 2021. As a student, I have had the privilege of attending placements in various areas of nursing and appreciated the diversity of the profession. Then, throughout 2022 I had the wonderful opportunity to attend my graduate program at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

At present, I enjoy working with the team here as a Practice Nurse, as I am passionate about learning new care procedures in the clinic, meeting new patients and caring for their families.

After every shift, I come home to my two ragdoll cats, Kewpie and Nala.

Ruby has recently completed her Diploma of Nursing in July 2023 through Mater Education. Ruby is an energetic and diligent nurse who enjoys helping others and advocating for patient needs.

Katherine Mellor

Katherine graduated from ACU in 2014 and completed a nurse immuniser course since qualifying.

Katherine graduated from ACU in 2014 and completed a nurse immuniser course since qualifying. She has worked in Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation with QHealth, Qld XRay Radiology, NSW Healthcare in community heathcare and various general medical settings.
Katherine commenced with MGPC in October 2023 and is looking forward to a new challenge in general practice.

Talia Windegaard

Talia graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from QUT in 2019 and soon after commenced working at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Talia’s nursing background includes general medicine and renal, including peritoneal dialysis. Talia has had a broad range of healthcare experience prior to completing her nursing degree, including Dental assisting, caring for people with spinal injuries and Aged Care.

Talia made the move to general practice to find better work-life balance whilst still being able to provide essential care to people in need.
