ABOUT THE CLINIC

Morningside General Practice Clinic was established approximately 40 years ago by Dr. Allan Phillips and his wife, Janet.

Dr. Phillips was later joined by Dr. Colin Kratzing and Dr. Heather Jenkins who share ownership of the clinic with Allan. The founders and directors are still actively involved in the daily management of the clinic and are passionate about preserving and improving upon the excellence they worked hard to establish.

In 2012, sister clinic Belmont General Practice Clinic opened, which is linked to Morningside so patients are able to visit either clinic and still have all their records centralised.

Morningside General Practice Clinic embraces education of both Medical and Nursing Students.

Occasionally there are medical and nursing students on rotation within Morningside General Practice Clinic and Belmont General Practice Clinic. You will be notified at Reception of the details of students and the doctor and/or Nursing Team will always seek your permission for the student to be present during your consultation. You are under no obligation to have students present.

Morningside General Practice Clinic currently has three teaching doctors – Dr. Wendy Burton, Dr. Damian Gilbert, and Dr. Samantha Ranasinghe.
